Chalcedony

Opaque blue, aqua, and pink offer a pretty range of pastel hues in Chalcedony, a stone with a waxy luster. Known in Ancient Greece as the ‘speaker’s stone,’ the philosopher Demosthenes was said to have placed one under his tongue to train his pronunciation.
